Who We Are
Marks Park All Breeds Dog Training Club (under the Dobermann Club) is a KUSA affiliated all-breeds domestic dog training school situated in the leafy suburb of Emmarentia at the Marks Park Sports Field. We have excellent facilities with a large clubhouse, ablutions, and a shop. Training is a wonderful way to bond with your dog and establish a relationship to benefit both dog and handler for years to come.
We use positive, reward-based training methods and encourage owners and dogs to have fun. We offer a wide range of classes, all run by dedicated trainers with many years of experience in their fields. Operating on a Sunday morning from 08:00 to 11:00, our classes consist of 10-week courses. These are Puppy School, Kindergarten, Canine Good Citizen (bronze, silver and gold), Agility, Prep school for older un-trained dogs, Intro to clicker training, CD – Companion dog and a Rally and tricks class
How can you join us?
If you are interested in joining our club, an orientation lesson is compulsory for new members or members who have had a lapse (This lesson is without your dog).
Assessments are for all new dogs (even if the human member is not new).
Entry to the more advanced classes is pending an assessment, and owners may be required to complete additional obedience and beginner classes before being able to join. Please phone 0721802150 to book your orientation slot
