About Us
Urban Sports is the premier provider of 5-a-side football, located at Marks Park Sports Club in Emmarentia, Johannesburg.
Our club brings people together to share the good times as a community, improving fitness and general health whilst being the local home of 5-a-side football.
We invite the community into our clubs and support them in various projects. For example, we work directly with the community to plan annual events such as the Ramadaan Cup, Islamic Charity Event and the Maradona Cup, to name a few.
We also offer packages for football birthday parties and corporate events. However, our most exciting service offering is our 5-a-side nightly leagues. The social and competitive leagues can be a great way of getting an intense ‘after work’ workout with friends or colleagues.
5-a-side soccer is a fast-paced form of the game played on a smaller enclosed field. The result is more time on the ball, more excitement, and more crowd-pleasing goals. 5v5 with eight players per team and rolling subs allow for action-packed 40-minute games!

How to enter:
- Get your team of 8-10 mates/colleagues together
- Choose your preferred league night (Mon-Fri)
- Pick your difficulty (Competitive/Social)
- Register your team on our website: register.urbansports.joburg
- You will be contacted within 24hrs in order to confirm registration
League details:
League games kick-off each week night between 18:30-21:30 (Time-slots are equally allocated between all teams).
Every player is able to register their player ID in order for their goals to be tracked and enter into our Top Scorer competition.
Our unique Action Replay Service allows all players to download their goals from our website directly after their game.
